Background/Description
The reverse sandworm is a species that resides on the blue granite planes of a large planet called Zhatka. This planet resides in a star system within the Milky Way galaxy. There is no recorded history for the reverse sandworm since they are not currently capable or willing to record their own history. The only internal organs a reverse sandworm have are its esophagus and its stomach. The outer lining of its stomach is also used as its brain. The stomach is located inside what would normally be called a "butt." The revere sandworm has a bright cyan colored face formed with illuminating biomaterial located on its butt-like structure. After the digestion of its prey it vomits up the carcass like a Venus fly trap; this eliminates the need for a digestive tract like a humans intestines. The face on the reverse sandworms butt is used to distract prey so it can snap at them from below with its quick moving snake like mouth. Ironically, its major weak spot is also its butt because if you puncture it, you puncture its stomach which serves as its brain. The majority of muscle mass is located on a reverse sandworms spine area; this is how it keeps itself from needing supports under its head and allows these creatures to move extremely quickly with their neck. The jaw strength on a reverse sandworm is normally strong enough to split chunks of titanium; however, this is not all jaw power alone as the edges of its mouth are quite sharp and do not dull. The legs on a reverse sandworm are quite unique, with two knees and suction cup-like feet at the base of the legs. The double knee is for extra flexibility, and the suction cups are useful if the creature were to fall over; it can just pull itself back up. Zhatka is a planet between the sizes of Saturn and Jupiter. Zhatka is mostly a bluish color planet. The rocks are almost all shades of blue, and most of the flora is a dark blue, almost purple color. The atmosphere has many chemicals in it, but is mainly made of hydrogen. The entire planet is void of oxygen. Due to hydrogen being most of the atmosphere, it is orange. One of the only flaws of a reverse sandworm is its inability to walk very well in grainy surfaces like sand or gravel. The main goal for this species is to eventually evolve into a race of highly capable, space faring citizens of destruction; this creature will eventually build ships that swallow planets whole, and remove any and all resources to fuel their ever growing need.
